Step 1: How to open your Currency Change account…
There are many ways to open your account - online, email, or by phone. Registration is simple and meets with Anti Money Laundering legislation.
Step 2. How to get the best exchange rates…
Your personal currency specialist will discuss your currency needs. He will monitor the currency movements and keep you up-to-date with market news. All your available options and currency tools will be explained to you, offering you the best possible rate.
Once you are happy and accept our quote, you will receive a quote via email, fax or post.
Step 3. How to send money to us...
The final step is for you to send CurrencyChange the currency you requested. We will convert it at the pre- agreed exchange rate and we will instantly send the funds on to the bank account(s) you have designated.
There are several methods you can use to send us your funds, depending on whether you are in the UK or outside of the UK.
From the UK, you can instruct your bank to transfer money from your account directly to Currency Change after, by using your online or telephone banking, or by going into your branch and making a same-day CHAPS transfer.
For outside the UK and/or non-sterling payments, you instruct your bank to transfer money to us as a SWIFT payment, the main system for international transfers.
Step 4: CurrencyChange will transfer money to your dedicated account…..
Once we’ve received your funds and they have cleared, we either pay the account(s) you’ve nominated the same day or day after. We then send you confirmation in a PDF to let you know everything has gone through.
We require 2 forms of ID: a clear copy of your photo ID in the form of a passport and/or driver's licence (both parts) and a copy of your registered address in the form of a bank statement or utility bill (gas, electricity, water, landline telephone) no more than 3 months old.
We are member of SWIFT – the main system used throughout the financial world to make payments.
